ABB Aurora Power-One PVS-120-TL string inverter The PVS-100/120-TL is a three-phase string inverter with cloud connection. It is the right solution for cost-efficient decentralized photovoltaic systems, both for open spaces and for large commercial rooftop applications. This completely new platform offers extremely powerful string inverters with outputs of up to 120 kW with the aim of maximizing ROI for decentralized open spaces and large commercial rooftop systems. The six MPPT optimize the energy yield especially in the case of shading. Extreme performance with high integration density The extremely powerful inverter module with up to 120 kW saves installation costs because a smaller number of inverters is required. Due to the compact size, there are further savings in logistics and maintenance. Thanks to the integrated DC / AC isolating switch, 24 string connections, fuses and surge protection, no additional junction boxes are required. Easy installation The horizontal or vertical mounting option creates flexibility for both open space and roof systems. The covers are provided with hinges and quick-release locks, which reduces the risk of damage to the housing and the internal components during commissioning and maintenance work. The standard wireless "wireless" access from any mobile device makes the configuration of the inverter and system easier and faster. Improved user-friendliness thanks to the integrated user interface (UI = User Interface) enables access to advanced configuration settings of the inverter. The mobile installation app available for Android and iOS devices also simplifies the installation of systems with multiple inverters. The connection of copper as well as aluminum cables up to a cross section of 185 mm² is possible. This minimizes the line losses. Rapid system integration The industry-standard Modbus / SUNSPEC protocol enables rapid system integration. Two Ethernet interfaces enable fast and future-proof communication for the PV system. FIMER Plant Portfolio Integration It is very easy to monitor your plants, as every inverter can connect to the FIMER Plant Portfolio Manager. This ensures your investments and their profitability in the long term. Flexibility in system design and shading The two-stage conversion topology and six MPPT guarantee maximum flexibility in system design on roofs or in hilly terrain. These technological possibilities lead to optimized energy yields even when shaded.
